South African singer-songwriter Sarah Jade is known as a member of Fourth Son South but has recently embarked on a solo career also. The conversation kicks off with Sarah sharing the details of her latest release "I Don't Like You" and the unusual marketing campaign she undertook to gain the track more exposure. She shares how she approaches songwriting and how Yakean provides expert guidance with everything from recording to playing live.


As the conversation unfolds Sarah Jade shares that the concerts that made her are One Direction, Ed Sheeran and when she saw Prime Circle. From a performing point of view she shares what recipe makes for the best concerts and also shares a funny story about the worst gig she has played.


On a personal note Sarah Jade discloses her struggles with mental health and how this impacts upon her music.
